In 2020, we had the incredible opportunity to make a special little girl's dream come true. Blakelee wanted to become a cheerleader, but she was too young to join school or midget teams. Her mom reached out to us, hoping we could help find a program for her. Luckily, we have friends who run cheerleading programs for kids Blakelee's age and older. These programs compete at various levels, but Blakelee's family was facing financial difficulties due to her dad's terrible accident, which left him out of work.
The Nikkie Lee Foundation stepped in to help. We were able to cover the costs and make Blakelee’s dream of becoming a cheerleader a reality. This year, she was finally old enough to join the midget cheerleading team, and we continued to support her every step of the way. Blakelee has made incredible progress since she started with the USA All Stars, and we are proud of how far she has come.
We hope she continues to chase her dreams as she grows older, and we will be there to support her all the way.
Back in July, we hosted our first annual poker run, with all proceeds going to the CAAHC organization. We had a great turnout for our inaugural event, with 21 riders participating, and we raised $420 for the cause. We look forward to working with and supporting this organization again very soon.
This past weekend, we had the privilege of participating in a ride supporting a fantastic organization that assists families in need. Every week, a dedicated group of volunteers packs backpacks full of food and delivers them to schools for children enrolled in the program. Currently, the program serves 130 families, and this number is expected to exceed 300 when school starts. This initiative is a wonderful asset to our hometown, and we are excited about future rides and opportunities to collaborate with this organization.
